Found this gem in my drafts. I meant to post it in March 2017 but never managed to do so until now:
So it’s been quite a while since I’ve actually created any content for this lil’ ol’ blog of mine, and for that, I apologize. Although, I have to point out that I did explain in my first post that I wasn’t actually sure if I’d even have time to post on a regular basis. hehe
I thought I’d give a quick little update on what’s been going on with me and my life before resuming the next post, The Secret I have been using in order to achieve a successful and happy life.
I just finished with school! Yippee! I only signed up for one course, but I know me so well, and knew I’d need to ease myself back into school, before taking it all on again. I’ve never been good at actually going to school. I’ve made good friendships with a lot of people, and I like socializing with others for the most part, but I get anxiety when taking tests and quizzes, as well as struggling with self confidence and esteem issues. My anxiety and other issues have gotten so much better since high school, but it creeps back in every now and then when I least expect it to. I was doing extremely well with managing work and school in the beginning. I was sticking to a schedule and kicking it’s ass! I was going to work daily and doing well, on down time I managed to complete all my school assignments, I would then come home to take care of my baby, get dinner ready and on the table before my boyfriend got off from work, and go to class. Unfortunately, my babysitter fell through, I reduced my work hours (ALOT), which screwed up my income, I resumed my full time, stay at home Mom position, which is extremely fun, but also way more tiring than actually having a “real job” (Insert eye roll emoji here). I managed to pass the course with a B. I was really going for letter grade of A, but I barely went to class once my schedule got all screwed up and should be appreciative that I still did well in spite of that.
A couple of high stress parties were planned (and still planning) but they all end right before I start my summer semester.
I enjoy it, but I’m still on the hunt for a part time job to add to our household’s income, all while taking care of my family, and going to school. Oh! And as far as having a social life…what even is that, really?
